MUSICAL BACKGROUND
Giaco Carrera is a Peruvian composer (*1995) based in Zurich/Milan. He studied composition with Giovanni Verrando at the Civica Scuola di Musica in Milan. His work combines acoustic instruments, electronics and recorded voices, exploring timbre, musical structure and the relationship between composed and sampled material, with a focus on cultural memory of its ancestral roots.
